Guided self-help is a professional-to-client relationship different from counseling or therapy as it does not deal with the signs and symptoms of a pathology in the client.  Instead, guided self-help aims to initiate a healthy behavior change process in a client and provide ongoing support, consulting and coaching to sustain that change until the client feels self-sufficient.

For many of us stress is perhaps the first obstacle to making healthier behavior choices. Stress is unavoidable, so learning how to tackle it may be key to maintaining good health. When you need that extra boost, our unique stress relief sessions - ranging from mindfulness meditation, guided relaxation, and breath work to massage and aromatherapy - can help you decompress and replenish your body, mind, and spirit.

Changing health behaviors takes more than just desire and facts. Often we lack the mindset needed to establish a healthy lifestyle. Our coaches work to motivate and prepare you to handle the psychosocial and environmental barriers to achieving long-term wellness success.

When your mental state compromises your eating, exercise, or health habits, you may need to speak with a specialist. Our coaches will refer you to experienced mind-body counselors that can help you overcome disordered and emotional eating, food addiction, or other mental problems that undermine your well-being.

“Behavior is the end result of a prevailing story in one's mind: change the story and the behavior will change.
